Greg DeRodes, O.D.
Dr. DeRodes received his Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University in 1992. His practice consists of primary eye care; including routine eye examinations, surgical pre- and post-operative care as well as diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases and injuries; including infections, diabetic eye monitoring and glaucoma care. He also does contact lens fittings.
Dr. DeRodes is an active member of the Fremont community with involvement in the local Lions Club. He serves as Ad Council Chair at his church, coached for recreational programs and has been a leader in the Boy Scouts of America for 18 years.
Dr. DeRodes is a member of the American Optometric Association. He and his wife Amy live in Fremont with their 2 children.
Jason Kolodziejczyk, O.D.
Dr. Kolodziejczyk served in the United States Army from 1995-98 and the United States Air Force from 1998-2005. During his time in the service he was twice awarded the Distinguished Service Medal.
Having left the service, Dr. Kolodziejczyk went on to graduate from Bowling Green State University with honors in the summer of 2002 and The Ohio State University where he received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2006.
He is an active member of the Fremont Community serving with the Kiwanis Club of Fremont, past Church Deacon and Council member and coach/assistant coach of area youth soccer teams.
He is a member of the Ohio Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Kolodziejczyk is active in the education of Sandusky County presenting to service clubs, senior citizen organizations and our students. He was awarded top Realeyes presenter for educating our students on eye care. The Sandusky County Chamber of Commerce awarded Dr. Kolodziejczyk with Distinguished Service Award in January 2011. This award was given for going above and beyond in his career field.
Dr. Kolodziejczyk’s scope of practice includes contact lens fittings, routine eye examinations as well as diagnosing and treatment of eye diseases and injuries.
He lives in Port Clinton with his wife and 3 children.
Stacy Rellinger, O.D.
Dr. Rellinger was raised in Fremont and graduated from Fremont Ross High School. She then went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in biology from Adrian College and her Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University. Upon graduation, Dr. Rellinger completed an ocular disease residency with The Omaha Eye Institute in Omaha, Nebraska. She then returned to her hometown and joined the Eye Centers of NW Ohio in 1999.
Dr. Rellinger served for 6 years as an examiner of the National Boards of Optometry and traveled to Puerto Rico multiple times to fulfill her duties at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, School of Optometry. She also travelled to Ecuador to provide glasses and eye care for the less fortunate.
Dr. Rellinger’s practice includes routine eye exams, contact lens fitting, diagnosis and treatment of eye disease and injuries as well as pre- and post-op cataract care and monitoring diabetic eye health. She is committed to providing the highest level of eye care and always welcomes new patients.
She lives in the Fremont area with her husband Ray and their 2 children.
Susan E Smith, M.D.
Dr. Smith earned her undergraduate degree from John Carroll University. She received her medical training at the Medical University of Ohio and completed her internship at the Catholic Health System in Buffalo, New York. Dr. Smith attended the State University of New York at Buffalo for her Ophthalmology residency.
Dr. Smith’s surgical interests include cataract extraction utilizing standard and premium intraocular lens technology to maximize patient satisfaction, cutting-edge micro-invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) to help reduce burden of topical eye drop administration, as well as eyelid surgery to improve field of vision and reduction of ocular irritation. In-office glaucoma laser therapy known as SLT is a procedure offered by Dr. Smith as a first-line treatment in most types of glaucoma to help treat the asymptomatic disease. Dr. Smith also thoroughly enjoys visits with patients to help screen for medical conditions through comprehensive ocular examinations.
She lives in the Fremont area with her husband David and their family.
Alexzandra Rudinoff, O.D.
Dr. Rudinoff was raised in Gibsonburg, Ohio. Upon graduation from Gibsonburg High School, she pursued her undergraduate degree at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. She graduated with high honors, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology, with minors in Chemistry and Psychology. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree with high honors from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Dr. Rudinoff has been involved in community service and leadership throughout her entire education.
In the past, she volunteered at the Clovernook Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Cincinnati, Ohio, and she served as a camp counselor at Enchanted Hills Camp for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Napa, California. She has been a member of Lions Club since 2013 and served as President of OSU’s chapter. She also held leadership and served in Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (SVOSH), providing eye care to underserved populations in Nicaragua and Ghana. She joined the Eye Centers of Northwest Ohio in 2019 and welcomes new patients. Her scope of practice consists of routine eye examinations, contact lens fittings, pre- and post- operative cataract care, as well as treatment and management of ocular disease. Dr. Rudinoff also provides low vision evaluations for individuals who are blind or visually impaired at The Sight Center of Northwest Ohio.
